- Open Messages
- Find the green icon with a speech bubble.
- Tap it once to open.

- Tap the square-and-pencil button (usually top-right corner).
- In the โTo:โ box, type your own phone number or the name of a contact.

- Write Your First Text
- Tap in the message box at the bottom.
- Type: โHello, this is my first text.โ
- Tap the blue arrow to send.

- Add an Emoji
- Tap the smiley face icon on the keyboard.
- Choose any emoji (๐, โค๏ธ, ๐).
- Tap the blue arrow to send.

- Send a Photo
- Tap the camera icon next to the text box.
- Choose โTake Photoโ or โPhoto Library.โ
- Select a picture and tap Send.

- Read a Message
- When you receive a reply, tap the conversation to open it.
- Read the bubble.
- If itโs blue โ you sent it. If itโs gray โ they sent it.

- Tap in the box.
- Type a short reply like: โGot it, thank you!โ
- Tap the blue arrow to send.
